Flora & Fauna of the Florida Keys
CCOR is offering a continuing education course, Flora and Fauna of the Florida Keys, which focuses on introducing participants to the ecosystems of the Florida Keys and the organisms which inhabit them. This ten-week class features guided field trips through natural communities of the Florida Keys archipelago and one nearby mainland site to introduce participants to native species diversity and local ecology. Each class will convene on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM and last until approximately 12:30 PM.
This class will be offered in the fall of 2018. Class dates include: September 8, 15, 22, 29, October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10 (Rain Dates: November 17 and December 1).

Through the Medina Aquarius Program, CCOR supports the for-credit graduate (OCB6927C, 2 credits) and undergraduate (BSC4473C, 3 credits) Scientific Diving classes that are offered in conjunction with the Environmental Health and Safety workplace scientific diving program. Each class section combines graduate and undergraduates taking the class for credit with professionals receiving the training for workplace safety reasons.

Our Aquarius-related courses and trainings include the Diving Medical Technician Course, the Recompression Chamber Operator Course, and the Intro to Saturation Diving Course.
